The kidneys balance
fluid levels and filter waste and toxins from
the blood. Any waste can then be excreted from
the body in the urine. As far back as the first
century, Greek scholars were among the first to
document the use of herbal tinctures to promote kidney care
and urinary system health.
Dandelions are thought
to have originated in Asia and then spread to
other parts of the world. They have a number of
beneficial constituents, including a wide
variety of vitamins and minerals. Preliminary
studies show that the constituents in dandelion
may help promote urine flow.
The Chinese herb
astragalus is included in our KidneyCare formula
for its ability to promote a proper inflammatory

clear. Yarrow, a perennial herb and close cousin
of chamomile has been used by herbalists for
centuries. Researchers have discovered over one
hundred compounds in yarrow, but the most
significant active constituents appear to be its
volatile oils, which some researchers believe

response.
